Hello Cabaret: Review

Hello Cabaret is a monthly event that celebrates musical theatre and Welsh talent through intimate performances of show tunes and contemporary stories. Founded by musical director and creative genius Dan Fulham, this event brings together passionate, promising individuals to showcase their talent in venues throughout Cardiff and Swansea. April’s event took place in Cardiff’s heart and hub of musical theatre, the Wales Millennium Centre. The evening was packed with exciting performances from artists Hywel Dowsell, Jac Yarrow, Lloyd Macey, Millie Davies, Lois Meleri, and Caitlin McKee; featuring a varied collection of songs from shows such as Spamalot, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Avenue Q, and the show-stopping Rent. The cast of the UK touring production of Rent even joined these artists for a one-off late night set, making the evening even more unique and memorable. Hello Cabaret is definitely one of South Wales’ hidden gems and is not to be missed! Check out my video here.
